  • In 2019, Dr. Bross became a member of the Group Executive Board and took over the management of the Plate and Section Steel Business Unit.
  • In 2010, Dr. Bross joined the Management Board of Salzgitter Flachstahl and took over the Sales and Logistics Division.
  • Dr. Bross began his career at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH in 2002 as a production engineer in the hot-rolled flat steel/development, application and testing technology quality department.
  • Sebastian Bross holds a doctorate in engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig (Institute of General Mechanics and Strength of Materials, Institute of Metal Physics).

  • Mr. Alexander Soboll has been a member of the Management Board of Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel GmbH and Managing Director of Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH since July 2016.
  • His career at Salzgitter began in 1990 with an apprenticeship in wholesale/foreign trade.
  • After working in various sales departments, Mr. Soboll gained extensive international experience in China and Singapore, where he most recently held the position of Managing Director.
  • He returned to Germany in 2008 and took on management positions, including as head of the “Warm Flat” department and as a member of the management board of Europipe GmbH.
  • Mr. Soboll holds an MBA from Henley Business School (UK) and is a member of various supervisory boards and committees, including the Foreign Trade Committee of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

  • In 2019, he initially took over the management of the Strategy, Markets & Development functional area for one year and became Head of Controlling, Accounting & Risk at the end of 2019  
  • In 2016, he assumed responsibility as CFO for the finance area of the three Downstream business units of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG
  • He began his professional career as a trainee in Production Controlling Metallurgy at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG in 2007 and became Team Leader Production Controlling Rolling & Finishing in Duisburg in 2011  
  • Christoph Martin studied economics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the JurGrad School of Tax and Business Law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität.
