Salzgitter Group presents itself at the Tube

The international pipe industry will meet from April 15 to 19 at the Tube in Düsseldorf, the world's leading trade fair for the pipe industry. For many years, the Salzgitter Group has been one of the major exhibitors here and presents itself together with its subsidiaries on around 500 square meters in Hall 4, Stand H42. The focus of the trade fair appearance will once again be on the Mannesmann brand for seamless and welded steel pipes.
Frank Seinsche, responsible for trade fairs in the Salzgitter Group, explains: "Mannesmann is the epitome of high-quality steel pipes worldwide. Our products support the transition to sustainable solutions in many areas of application, whether in the emerging hydrogen infrastructure or in electromobility. In addition to the production companies, Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel in particular will use the trade fair as an ideal dialog platform."
Pipes with the predicate Mannesmann H2ready are certified for the transport and storage of hydrogen and support the transition to hydrogen as an energy carrier of the future. Salzgitter companies have supplied large and pipeline tubes for significant infrastructure projects of the energy transition, including the South German natural gas pipeline, which is initially to transport natural gas and from 2030 hydrogen. Where the use of CCS technologies (Carbon Capture and Storage) for the separation and storage of CO2 emissions appears to be a feasible path, Mannesmann can additionally offer sustainable solutions. In the automotive sector, products for hydrogen and battery-electric mobility are in focus.
In addition to sustainability, supply security is increasingly coming into focus in the industry. The integration of large parts of the value chain in the group is making a significant contribution to the crisis resilience of the Salzgitter pipe factories and at the same time enabling them to have planned access to low-emission steel from the group's own manufacturers.
The Salzgitter Group is represented on the Tube with the companies Mannesmann Precision Tubes GmbH, Mannesmann Line Pipe GmbH, Mannesmann Grossrohr GmbH and with the pipe bending plant of Salzgitter Mannesmann Grobblech GmbH. The group's own trading organization, Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel Group, is also present, which takes over the worldwide distribution of the products in addition to direct sales by the pipe manufacturers.
